It is hard to believe that Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away! Our team’s calendars are starting to quickly fill-up with holiday parties and festivals plus train rides to the North Pole via the Cuyahoga Valley Railroad. One event in Hudson, that really gets you into the holiday spirit, is Come to Hudson for the Holidays. This event takes place in historic downtown Hudson on Friday, November 27 from 2-6 PM. Below is a schedule of events for this memorable holiday tradition.
* 8:30-11 AM – Breakfast with Santa – Eat breakfast while enjoying a special appearance from Santa at Hudson’s Restaurant, 80 N. Main Street. Please make reservations.
* 2-4 PM – Visit with Santa and Elves – Join Kurtz & Company in Santa’s Village, 148 N. Main Street, and enjoy a special visit with Santa and his elves.
* 4 PM – Lighting of the Luminaries – This event is sponsored by Merchants of Hudson, with the help of Boy Scout Troops 327 and 777.
* 5 PM Celebration of Lights and Caroling – Gather around the gazebo and sing carols with Santa and the Western Reserve Community Band. After caroling, watch Santa magically light downtown.
* There will be hot chocolate and cookies served after the caroling at Fair Trade on Main, 134 N. Main Street.
